JEFF CLARKE, CET
Registered Home Inspector
Along with his certified membership in the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors, Jeff Clarke is also a Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists and The Architectural Technologists of Ontario.

Prior to becoming a professional home inspector, Jeff Clarke was a building contractor with 14 years experience in residential building and renovation. He has managed over $5,000,000 (cumulative) of construction projects during that time. Jeff began practicing home inspection in 1985 and since then has performed over 14,000 home inspections in the greater Toronto area.

Jeff Clarke is a past president of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors and past president of the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors. Jeff is a Registered Home Inspector.

JOHN JOHNSON, RHI
Registered Home Inspector
John Johnson began working in the residential construction industry in 1979. Since then, John has owned and operated a small contracting firm which specialized in residential remodeling. John is a licensed builder/renovator.

John Johnson is a member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and was certified as a full member by the American Society of Home Inspectors in 1993. John Johnson is in his seventeenth year working full-time with Baker Street.

Blair Wallhouse
Registered Home Inspector
Blair Wallhouse concentrated on scenic carpentry and electrical systems while in college. This lead to carpentry positions on a variety of film and theatre productions. From that experience Blair operated a small contracting company from 1992 until 2003.

Blair is a member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and graduated with honours from the Humber College "Home Inspectors Certificate" program. Blair joined Baker Street Home Inspections in 2003 after two years of being an independent home inspector.

Edward McCudden
National Certificate Holder
Ed began working in the residential construction industry in 1980. Ed was employed for 14 years by one of the largest property management companies in Canada as a mobile maintenance foreman on their troubleshooting team. During this time Ed maintained systems in many of the largest buildings in Toronto including Scotia Tower, First Canadian Place and the Queen's Quay Terminal. Since then, Ed has owned and operated a small residential renovating firm which specialized in residential remodeling and maintaining the integrity of older homes. Ed is a licensed builder/renovator.

Ed is in his fourth year working with Baker Street. His licenses and certificates include:
  • National Certificate Holder as issued by the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors
  • Qualified steam fitter with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Certificate in Heating and Ventilation Engineering, City of Guilds of London Institute Diploma in Property Managment
  • Ontario Association of Home Inspectors Defect Recognition and Reporting course

Ian G. Smith, RHI
Registered Home Inspector
Ian Smith began working in the residential construction industry in 1985. Since then Ian has worked in both the new construction and the renovation fields. Ian worked as a cabinet maker before training to be a home inspector.

Ian is a Registered Home Inspector in accordance with the Ontario Association of Home Inspector's Act. He graduated with honors from the George Brown College "Home Inspection Certificate" program. Ian joined Baker Street Home Inspection Services Inc. in 2009.
